Marbach America Inc., our US subsidiary, can look back on an extremely successful first half of 2025. The company participated in three major industry events – the IADD Odyssey Expo in Atlanta, Amplify in Chicago, and Foam Expo in Novi – where it impressed visitors with innovative solutions for the packaging industry.
IADD – a meeting place for die-cutting experts.
From May 7 to 9, 2025, Marbach America presented itself at the IADD Odyssey Expo in Atlanta – a trade fair organized every two years by the International Association of Diecutting and Diemaking (IADD). The event is one of the most important events for professionals in the fields of die making, foil finishing, and packaging production. Around 150 visitors stopped by the Marbach booth to learn about current highlights, such as in-line embossing, reverse-cutting tools, and innovative aluminum solutions like the blanking tool alublanker and the dieboard duramar|alu.
“The IADD Odyssey was a complete success for us. It's always nice to meet our industry colleagues and present the latest innovations from Germany to the US market – especially those that sustainably improve performance in the die-cutting process,” said Miles Guessford, Sales Manager Southeast USA.
Amplify – premiere in a strong market.
From June 10 to 12, 2025, Marbach was represented for the first time at Amplify in Chicago – the trade fair for embellishment, packaging, and design. This is where experts in print finishing and innovative packaging technologies meet. Around 75 visitors were welcomed to the Marbach booth. Solutions for in-line embossing and hotfoiling were particularly in demand, as was the compact cleaning device mplaten|cleaner-smart, which ensures clean cutting platens and maximum efficiency in the production process.
“Amplify was a promising premiere for us. The Midwest is one of our strongest markets in the US, so it was all the more gratifying to welcome many local customers and partners in person,” explains Christopher Herrington, Sales Manager USA & Canada.
Foam Expo – Successful entry into a new market.
From June 24 to 26, 2025, Marbach made its debut at Foam Expo in Novi – the leading trade fair for foam technologies, materials, and applications. Around 150 visitors showed great interest in Marbach's technical tooling solutions, especially for cutting foam and honeycomb board – a market segment with strong growth potential.
"2025 was our first year at Foam Expo – and we are thrilled with the positive response. The demand for specialized tools for foam and honeycomb board is growing significantly, and offers great potential for our innovative solutions," said Miles Guessford, Sales Manager Southeast USA.
The successful trade fair appearances highlights Marbach's claim to actively and efficiently shape the future of packaging production with technological expertise and practice-oriented solutions.
