Responsibility for Sustainable Packaging – The Marbach Group’s PPWR Statement

The Marbach Group is committed to its responsibility for sustainable and resource-efficient packaging solutions. In this context, we are addressing the requirements of EU Regulation 2025/40 on packaging and packaging waste (PPWR) and ensuring compliance with the regulations that apply to us.

The European Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation (PPWR) entered into force on February 11, 2025. The requirements set forth in the regulation will be implemented in phases and are scheduled to be fully implemented by August 12, 2026, at the latest, depending on the specific provisions.

The aim of the regulation is to make packaging more sustainable across the EU, conserve resources, and further strengthen the circular economy in Europe. This includes, in particular, requirements regarding the design, labeling, and recyclability of packaging, as well as the necessary documentation.

We are closely engaged with the requirements of the PPWR and are continuously implementing the necessary measures to ensure timely compliance. In doing so, we verify the conformity of our products and packaging. We continuously monitor developments in the legal framework to adapt our measures to new requirements at all times and ensure reliable implementation.

Our commitment is to guarantee transparency for our customers and ensure compliance with legal requirements in a timely manner.
