Perfectly matched. Faster setup. The calibration tool ensures optimal register in the die-cutting machine

The calibration tool allows die-cutting machines to be precisely calibrated and optimally adjusted to the production process. The result is shorter setup times, higher machine performance, and consistently high packaging quality.

Over the course of a die-cutting machine’s service life, its operating conditions change. Wear, changes in chain elongation, maintenance work, or the replacement of machine components can cause the original alignment of the individual stations to be lost. Even minor deviations affect the setup process and lead to longer setup times and reduced process stability.

The Marbach calibration tool allows the machine’s basic settings to be restored quickly and reliably. In the process, the stations for die-cutting, stripping, and blanking, as well as the respective upper and lower die components, are precisely aligned with one another. This creates optimal conditions for a cost-effective and reproducible production process.

“Even a few tenths of a millimeter can make a difference in how efficiently a die-cutting machine operates. With our calibration tool, we establish a precise baseline and enable optimal register across all machine stations,” explains Bernhard Reisser, Industry Manager at Marbach.

Calibration is particularly effective when performed regularly as part of machine maintenance. This ensures the machine remains precisely adjusted over the long term and delivers consistently high performance across many jobs.

For even greater efficiency, the calibration tool can be combined with other Marbach solutions. marbazero ensures optimal registration between the cutting-die and the steel counter plate, DZL|plate reduces job-specific zone levelling, and mplaten|cleaner-smart supports a high-performance die-cutting process by keeping the cutting platen clean.
