Reverse-cutting for elegant opening. Precise technology for high-level function and appearance.

With reverse-cutting, the cardboard material is scored on both sides in a staggered pattern without cutting through it. The print image remains completely intact, the packaging remains closed, and the opening process is controlled and clean. This creates opening mechanisms that are not only functionally impressive, but also visibly underline the value of the packaging.

Our reverse-cutting technology has been established in practice for many years and stands for high process reliability and repeat accuracy. With the height-adjustable anvil, it is now even more efficient. A significant advantage: the make-ready process can be carried out entirely from the tool side.

Height adjustment is quick and easy using precisely manufactured adjustment foils that are exactly matched to the respective anvil. The height can be precisely adjusted by inserting or removing these foils as required, without any intervention on the machine. Time-consuming set-up processes are reduced and once the settings have been determined, they can be restored reliably and reproducibly.

“The height-adjustable anvil is optimally tailored to the requirements of folding carton production. In particular, the make-ready process from the tool side offers a clear advantage in terms of handling and process stability. The result is consistently high quality, even with sophisticated opening mechanisms,” explains Marbach Industry Manager Bernhard Reisser.
