We draw a positive conclusion after the first year at the Germantown, Wisconsin, location. Since its integration into the Marbach Group, extensive investments have been made in machinery, infrastructure, and processes. A key focus was on modernizing production. In the manufacture of rotary dies, additional assembly workstations were set up and a modern rotary bending machine was installed. This has reduced production times by approximately 20 to 30 percent. At the same time, the new machine enables greater bending precision, which improves the quality of the cutting rules and significantly reduces the need for rework.

“The changes over the past twelve months are visible throughout the entire operation. With the new machines, optimized processes, and the support of the Marbach Group, we have been able to significantly increase our efficiency while further improving quality. I am particularly proud of how committed our team has been in supporting and shaping this transformation,” explains Bryan Heaney, Operations Supervisor at Marbach America – Germantown.

Targeted investments were also made in the area of flat tools. New assembly workstations ensure more efficient workflows and greater process reliability. A new laser accelerates the production of laser-cut dieboards while simultaneously increasing production capacity. These investments are complemented by a new plotter and a flat grinding machine for quick adjustments directly on-site.

In addition to production, the infrastructure has also been specifically upgraded. A new forklift, additional transport vehicles, expanded storage capacity, and optimizations in materials management ensure more efficient processes and improved internal logistics. A new air compressor with a modernized air distribution system also contributes to better working conditions and a cleaner production environment.
