The portfolio of Marbach Die Supplies (MDS) includes machines, equipment as well as materials for diemaking. However, MDS does not only supply diemakers, but also packaging manufacturers with materials for daily needs as well as equipment and machines for the diecutting environment. One of the latest additions to the portfolio are the mbench|smart and mbench|pro workbenches.
André Angermeir, Sales Manager Marbach Die Supplies: "The two workbenches of the mbench series have already aroused a lot of interest among our customers. This is because these workstations for repairs and die preparation increase the efficiency at the die-cutting machine enormously. For this purpose, we optionally also supply the respective matching manual devices."
The mbench series currently consists of two workbenches: the mbench|smart and the mbench|pro. On the combined table with an ideal work surface, storage space for tools and consumables, and the matching manual devices, repairs and other work can be carried out in a minimum of space.
Angermeir continues: "While the mbench|smart is particularly suitable for quick repairs directly on site, as it can be used flexibly in all areas of production and combines all the important equipment for die repair at one workstation, the mbench|pro is the ideal solution for tool preparation. This assembly table is used, for example, to check whether the rubbering is still properly in place or whether knives need to be replaced."
The mbench|smart can be optionally equipped with the mcut|multi multifunction device for cutting to length, notching and lip cutting of cutting rules as well as the mbend manual bender. For the mbend, three specially prepared bending sets are available. The two devices are also suitable for use with the big brother mbench|pro.
Angermeir: "The mbench|smart positioned close to the machine saves valuable time. This investment pays off quickly. The mbench|pro is usually equipped with the same devices as the mbench|smart. In addition, the mcut|round for cutting defined radii at the end of creasing rules is a useful extension. Our team has already received many inquiries, we are very pleased that our innovations are highly acclaimed."
Marbach has added a new blanking tool to its product range. The alublanker is, as its name suggests, made of aluminum and completely CNC-milled. One of the first customers to use the alublanker is Marbach's long-standing partner MPS in Obersulm - a company of the Consumer Packaging Business of the WestRock Group. The Obersulm site produces high-quality folding cartons for the international perfume and cosmetics industry.
Marbach has published a new whitepaper for tobacco applications on its knowledge platform, the Experience Hub.
Marbach provides solutions to ensure top performance for its customers. In order to make packaging more attractive and to visually highlight individual elements of packing, the embellishment process of embossing is often used. As an eye-catcher, it increases the impact of a package at the point of sale. This then has a sales-promoting effect for the packaged product. If the embossing process is not integrated into the die-cutting process but is carried out separately, this is known as embossing and die-cutting in two passes. This is more time-consuming than an embossing process integrated into the die-cutting process. But here, too, set-up times can be minimized.
The portfolio of Marbach Die Supplies (MDS) includes machines, equipment and materials for diemaking. In particular, MDS has expanded its range of manual devices in recent months. Among the most popular of these is the mcut|multi multifunctional cutting tool. It cuts rule materials quickly and without deformation. Plastika Mostar in Slovenia is already using mcut|multi and is very impressed.
