Last year, Marbach launched its new CONNECT|M system solution. This new product for more digitalization in the die-cutting process has been met with great interest on the market with first projects already started.
Project Manager Dominic Fischer: "The great interest in CONNECT|M shows us that we have hit the bull's eye with this new project: The digitalization of the die-cutting process is currently very much a topic on the minds of our customers. The CONNECT|M Tool Management and Performance Tracking modules show customers how much as yet unused performance potential there still is in their production and provide a perfect basis for decisions relating to the die-cutting process. The result for our customers is maximum transparency in packaging production and a sustainable improvement in their performance."
CONNECT|M is a new groundbreaking system solution for packaging manufacturers. It consists of web-based software combined with various hardware components, cameras, sensors and QR codes in packaging production. The result of CONNECT|M is a cloud-based, digital connection of cutting-die, die-cutting machine and user. This connection enables performance tracking and efficient tool management in packaging manufacturing.
CONNECT|M is available with different modules and packages. More information about this new, groundbreaking system solution can be found at connect.marbach.com/en. CONNECT|M can also be booked directly there.
Marbach not only manufactures tools for flat die-cutting machines, but also for rotary die-cutting machines. For rotary die-cutting of corrugated board, the trend is towards the use of rotary machines with active stripping technology. Marbach has developed specially equipped rotary tools for this purpose, which ensure high productivity on such machines.
Marbach offers a very extensive portfolio of cutting-dies. Marbach also produces tools for die-cutting very thick materials such as honeycomb corrugated board. Such materials place very special demands on the technology used.
Silvio Gruber, who has been responsible for the corrugated board division at Marbach, has gone into well-earned retirement shortly before Christmas. Until his recent retirement, Mr. Gruber worked for Marbach in various management positions for a period of 37 years.
