The solidplate|alu from Marbach. Precision and lightness.

We have introduced an innovative addition to our portfolio with the solidplate|alu. This dimensionally stable dieboard, with two aluminum cover layers enclosing a pressure-resistant core from above and below, impresses with its precision, durability and low weight. Its low weight is particularly advantageous for large machine formats.

“By using aluminum instead of steel, the solidplate|alu is not only extremely precise, but also significantly lighter. This considerably simplifies handling while ensuring the best die-cutting results and higher productivity in packaging production,” explains Bernhard Reisser, Industry Manager at Marbach. An additional advantage: the lower weight not only means less effort for employees, but also lower transport costs.

The solidplate|alu consists of a special material combination of aluminum cover layers and a robust core. It is characterized by its excellent hygroscopic properties, its optimal register to steel counter plates and a high durability – including frequent re-knifings. Thanks to the metallic cover plate, the ejection rubber can be replaced very easily, which also simplifies handling.

The solidplate|alu is mainly used in the production of food packaging but is also used in the pharmaceutical and cosmetics industries.

With the solidplate|alu, Marbach is setting new standards for precision and efficiency in the packaging industry.
