At the end of 2017, the Heilbronn-based die-manufacturer Marbach launched a platen cleaning device for large-format die-cutting machines. As of now Marbach can also offer this device for small-format paperboard machines.
Sandra Hemberger, Sales Marbach Automation and Service: "Our mplaten|cleaner has made a brilliant start. In the last few months we have already sold more than 50 corrugated board versions. And the trend is upward. The paperboard version, which is now available, had already been pre-ordered many times before its market launch."
This shows how well Marbach has been able to meet the requirements of the market with its new platen cleaning device. Those customers who use a mplaten|cleaner are completely satisfied with it. Sandra Hemberger continues: "The users are enthusiastic about the fast and very easy handling of mplaten|cleaner. Another obvious advantage: similar devices available on the market are significantly more expensive than ours. Then cleaning only takes one hour. And productivity of the die-cutter increases over many months. So no wonder the mplaten|cleaner pays for itself in no time at all. Our customers are convinced of mplaten|cleaner and its excellent price-performance ratio."
With the Marbach device, dirt and rust are removed from the die-cutting platen, and existing unevenness is smoothed out. This significantly reduces the effort required for make-ready and also the cutting pressure. The life span of the tool is extended and the die-cutting result is positively influenced by the clean platen. Customers benefit from excellent performance and increased productivity in their die-cutting processes.
For three years now, Marbach has been one of the few diemakers to operate a die-cutting machine at its site in Heilbronn. The Eterna machine (formerly Brausse) is used for customer and employee training, for tests of in-house developments and also for customer projects with well-known brand owners. In July this year, Marbach and Eterna can look back on 3 years of successful cooperation.
In 2019 the Marbach Group opened another subsidiary of Marbach America in Michigan City, Indiana. Today - 10 months later - the new Marbach family member is well on its way to becoming a strong pillar of the globally active company group.
Marbach is offering a special tool for the quick set-up of embossing plates on embossing dies under the name Embossing Register System IV. With this tool users save time when setting up an embossing die and so reduce machine downtimes.
For several months now Marbach has been offering a new technology in its portfolio under the name of: Universal Sheet Delivery. After the great success of the Universal Sheet Delivery in the 102-106 format, Marbach now also offers this tool for large die-cutting machines in 142-145 format.
