On the 5th of July 2019 the Family Day took place for the 6th time at Marbach. The theme was "Beach Party - it's summertime". Almost 400 employees and their families gathered on the company premises and celebrated together in bright sunshine.
Peter Marbach, managing director of Marbach: "This year's Family Day was an absolute success. After the weather welcomed us with a short but intensive shower at the last event in 2017, Petrus was kinder to us this time". Almost than 1,300 visitors came to the company premises. More than at any Family Day before. For all those who wanted to know what Marbach does or where family members spend their everyday working lives, there were company tours at the beginning of the event.
The whole venue was decorated in keeping with the summer motto. But not only that. Tina Dost, Marketing Manager at Marbach: "This time we came up with something very special for our guests. In order to get into the right mood, everyone was given a chain of flowers and sunglasses when they entered the premises. And in culinary terms, we were also prepared for the summer theme. For example, we had delicious ice cream from the region and exotic cocktails. Of course, we also had the obligatory French fries, which Peter Marbach fried as in all previous times. "It's a tradition for us that our managers entertain their employees at the Family Day," says Marbach. "Because with the Family Day we want to thank all our employees for their good work and commitment. Every single one of them contributes to the success of our company. I always work the first shift at the French fries myself. It's fun and you have the opportunity to talk to the employees."
And the little guests were also well taken care of. The children could have make-up applied at the Kindersolbad stand, an activity course of Böckingen sports park demanded lots of agility and of course there was also a bouncy castle which could not be missing. Moreover there was a photo box, but a DJ accompanied the whole event with summer beats and provided music for a well-filled dance floor towards evening.
Dost: "For us it was an entirely successful event. All employees and their families had a good time, enjoyed the sun and the delicious food. It's nice to see how our concept was so well received by everyone. We are already looking forward to our next Family Day."
For several months now Marbach has been offering a new technology in its portfolio under the name of: Universal Sheet Delivery. After the great success of the Universal Sheet Delivery in the 102-106 format, Marbach now also offers this tool for large die-cutting machines in 142-145 format.
The Egyptian subsidiary Marbach celebrates its 25th anniversary. The Marbach Group was founded in 1923 as a 3-man business. To begin with it supplied mainly the domestic advertising and packaging industry. Marbach then began a process of internationalization in 1984. In 1995 Marbach started a joint venture in Egypt.
The Managing Partner of the Marbach Group, Peter Marbach, has donated an internal bonus to the Wartberg School.
