Ingo Graham, product manager Marbach Die Supplies: "In our new material catalog we have extended the product range. Regardless of whether our customer’s clients have orders for small runs or require a high-tech counter plate for large runs with best creasing quality – we can provide the suitable material for the counter plate."

It is characterized by its favorable price and simplicity of use. The raw material is available from Marbach in various designs and sizes.
Steel counter plates
Steel counter plates may be used for long runs with high demands on the creasing quality and the service life of the counter die, as well as for repeat jobs. Marbach cuts the steel counter plates to the contour required by the customer. They are available in various designs, formats and hardnesses. Suitable for one or more machines.

Once again this year Marbach will follow in a long-established tradition: Marbach will make Christmas donations to two aid projects under the motto “donations instead of presents”. When selecting the recipients of the donations, it has been important to the Marbach Management to split the money between internationally well-known and regionally respected institutions. This year, Marbach has donated 7,000 Euro to "Help - Hilfe zur Selbsthilfe e.V." and an additional donation of 3,000 Euro to the "Tafeln Heilbronn" (a food distribution charity). Due to the current pandemic situation, however, the handover of the donations was different than usual this year. One of the donations was handed over online, the other with face masks and at a distance.
In November Marbach participated in the new virtual trade show ConneXion. During the 4 weeks of the ConneXion exhibition large numbers of visitors informed themselves about news in the packaging industry. Marbach presented its latest new developments for more performance in packaging production.
Marbach is represented at its Heilbronn headquarters by two divisions: Die Cutting Technology and Thermoforming Tool Manufacturing. But a product which directly connects these two divisions is SR technology (steel rule technology). This is because the Die Cutting Technology division supplies the Thermoforming Tool manufacturing division, and many other thermoforming manufacturers worldwide, with special steel-rule dies.
