Marbach, the globally active specialist for thermoforming tools for the packaging industry, supplies its customers with tools with the best performance. But not only the Marbach technologies are innovative: the company's website is also worth seeing. It has recently been revised and is now characterized by even more user-friendliness and more detailed information.
Hubert Kittelmann, Sales Manager at Marbach: "After the current website was launched in 2016 and received a facelift in between, we have updated the structure of the site this year. From now on, the thermoforming section is even more clearly structured and divided even more transparently: visitors can enter via different paths. The "Your application" area provides an overview of the end products that can be manufactured with our thermoforming tools. From cups to trays and lids to special applications. The individual categories are again structured according to the final end products. Our customers recognize themselves exactly in these products. On the corresponding subpages, there is a wide range of information on their product properties and the special technologies with which these can be achieved."
There is a wealth of information on the new Marbach website on end products such as OEM drinking cups, dairy cups, coffee capsules, multi-chamber trays, various lids and other applications. In the "Our Solution" section, the toolmaker then presents different tools, technologies, solution approaches and service offerings.
Kittelmann continues: "With this structure, we want to provide our website visitors with a simple tool through which they can obtain extensive information."

In 1923, the Marbach company began as a 3-man workshop in Heilbronn, Baden-Württemberg. 100 years later, the small craftsman business has become a global market leader operating worldwide. Today, the Marbach Group, with its 1,600 employees around the world, is a key partner for the global packaging industry.
Such a long company history cannot be taken for granted – in Germany only a little more than 1% of the companies ever reach 100 years. The fact that we have managed to achieve this, is due to many different factors.
Our story reads like an exciting novel.
In addition to materials for packaging manufacturers, our division Marbach Die Supplies also supplies equipment for the die-cutting process. This includes two mobile workbenches mbench|smart and mbench|pro. These are distinguished by their flexible application possibilities.
The workbenches in the mbench series are not only equipped with smooth-running heavy-duty wheels for flexible use, but also offer an ideal work surface, storage space for tools and materials, as well as the option of fitting them with suitable hand tools. This means that tools can be repaired and processed in a minimum of space.
With the Marbach lower pin unit, we have a tool on the market that is mainly used for jobs where the requirements for waste-free die-cut blanks are very high. This is because waste is stripped in an especially reliable way with the lower pin unit in these applications.
Lower pin units are used in the stripping station of a die-cutting machine. They are particularly useful when very small waste parts have to be stripped and when maximum reliability is required during stripping.
For us, an eventful but also successful year is coming to an end. Right at the beginning of the year, the war in Ukraine caused market turbulence and triggered a procurement crisis. We met these challenges with good planning and inventory management.
For many years now, we have traditionally donated 10,000 € to aid projects at Christmas under the motto "Donations instead of gifts". This year, due to the difficult situation in Ukraine, the management of Marbach decided to donate the entire amount to aid projects in connection with the war in Ukraine.
