Our division Marbach Die Supplies has a large number of handheld devices in its portfolio. One that is small, but all the more clever for that, is the marbanick|2+. With it, defined nicks can be quickly and easily inserted into cutting rules.
André Angermeir, General Sales Manager Marbach Die Supplies & Automation: "With the marbanick|2+ it is child's play to insert waste nicks directly at the die-cutting machine with one hand. The nick created with in this way is not only clean, but can also be impacted with the correct strength and in a reproducible manner."
The marbanick|2+ not only has 3 different grid levels that allow the hard metal wedge to exert different forces. The hand tool also comes with several wedges in different thicknesses between 0.3 mm and 0.6 mm – and also includes a quick-change system. Depending on the requirements and the material to be die-cut, up to 12 reproducible nick sizes can thus be created. And all of this is very fast, simple and flexible.
Angermeir continues, "The various grid levels mean that nicks can be set at different depths. The marbanick|2+ is quick and easy to use because the wedges can be changed in just a few seconds. The one-handed handling makes it efficient for the user. Many customers around the world use the marbanick|2+ every day. This makes it one of our top sellers in our handheld portfolio."
We are known for our innovative technologies that make life easier for the user. One of these is the split anvil, which ensures that packaging can be equipped with elegant and functional opening mechanisms.
In 1923, the Marbach company began as a 3-man workshop in Heilbronn, Baden-Württemberg. 100 years later, the small craftsman business has become a global market leader operating worldwide. Today, the Marbach Group, with its 1,600 employees around the world, is a key partner for the global packaging industry.
Such a long company history cannot be taken for granted – in Germany only a little more than 1% of the companies ever reach 100 years. The fact that we have managed to achieve this, is due to many different factors.
Our story reads like an exciting novel.
In addition to materials for packaging manufacturers, our division Marbach Die Supplies also supplies equipment for the die-cutting process. This includes two mobile workbenches mbench|smart and mbench|pro. These are distinguished by their flexible application possibilities.
The workbenches in the mbench series are not only equipped with smooth-running heavy-duty wheels for flexible use, but also offer an ideal work surface, storage space for tools and materials, as well as the option of fitting them with suitable hand tools. This means that tools can be repaired and processed in a minimum of space.
With the Marbach lower pin unit, we have a tool on the market that is mainly used for jobs where the requirements for waste-free die-cut blanks are very high. This is because waste is stripped in an especially reliable way with the lower pin unit in these applications.
Lower pin units are used in the stripping station of a die-cutting machine. They are particularly useful when very small waste parts have to be stripped and when maximum reliability is required during stripping.
