Marbach is well-known for its solutions that fulfil all requirements. In the field of rotary corrugated board, more and more is being invested in die-cutting machines which use tools with active stripping technology. For this reason, Marbach has developed special optimized tools designed for use on these rotary machines.
These special die-cutting machines employ a different technology than conventional rotary machines. They have an integrated self-stripping system in which waste is stripped using ejector pins. This means that conventional tools do not meet the requirements and special rotary cutting-dies have to be used. These tools are complex to manufacture and must be of the highest precision.

They report that their blanks are waste-free and that their rotary machines run at very high speeds. For maximum performance in rotary die-cutting."
Another advantage of the new technology: die-cutting, folding and gluing are carried out in a single operation. Therefore the productivity of these rotary machines, in combination with the Marbach tool technology, is very high.
Marbach has been a specialist for the production of cutting-dies for the packaging industry for many decades. In addition, the Marbach portfolio also includes tools for special technical solutions. One of which is the production of cutting-dies with particularly high cutting rules.
In May of this year, Marbach launched its new lower pin unit with high precision lower pins. This is mainly used for jobs where very small amounts of waste have to be stripped and where requirements for die-cut blanks to be waste-free are very high. With the lower pin unit, waste is stripped very safely in these areas of application. In the last months, several customers have already been using the new Marbach technology. Customer feedback has been consistently positive.
