The Marbach Group looks back on an eventful and successful year 2016. The globally active company with its headquarters in Heilbronn defined its new corporate design. And had an extraordinary trade-fair year.
Packaging. Performance. You.
Tina Dost, Marketing Manager at Marbach: “The year 2016 has been very exciting for us. We had our three most important trade fairs: the drupa, the FachPack and the K. All in one year. But that’s not all: we already started to reconsider our old corporate design in 2015. And decided it was a little outdated. We needed something new. Modern and more perfectly tailor-fitted to us. We analyzed our core values in many workshops. And redefined our values and corporate design. Our new Slogan “Packaging. Performance. You.” speaks for itself. Packaging: our world is the packaging industry. Performance: We want absolutely best performance for our customers. You: stands for your customers. They are our focus. And we offer them the right solution for every requirement. Not only in the high-end segment, but in every price range. That’s how we are hardwired. And that’s how we want to be seen. This project has given us a lot of dynamic.”
Marbach started the year 2016 with this dynamic. Dost continues: “The new corporate design was our central topic of the year. With it, everything changed. We were very successful with our new trade fair booth concept. At the drupa, as well as at FachPack and K. Our new corporate design was also applied to our Homepage, brochures, ads and our give-aways. Everything was very well received by our customers. Which, of course, made us especially happy.
Marbach is also delighted with the results of its participation at trade fairs. Especially the drupa exceeded all expectations. There were over 2.000 visitors at the Marbach stand during the 11 exhibition days. More than double the number than at the last drupa in 2012. Also at the FachPack and K there were increasing numbers of visitors.
At all the trade fairs, Marbach presented many innovations for improving customers' performance. The customers showed enormous interest in the latest Marbach products. And placed orders. More than 100 machines have been equipped with the digital zone levelling technology since May 2016. But also the new Marbach blanking technologies with products such as marbablanker and lightblanker have evolved into bestsellers. Moreover, refinement technologies such as pure edge and marbafoil rank among the highlights of the Marbach year.
2016 – exciting and successful
The year 2016 has not only been exciting for Marbach. But also very successful. Marbach closes the year with double-digit sales growth. The year 2017 will be a little more relaxed – at least when it comes to trade fair participation. There are several exhibitions, such as the CCE in Munich and the IADD Odyssey in Chicago. Besides that, a lot will happen at Marbach in 2017. Further sales growth is expected. International projects will be launched. And of course, Marbach has many product innovations in the pipeline, which will all help increase the customers’ performance.
The Egyptian subsidiary Marbach celebrates its 25th anniversary. The Marbach Group was founded in 1923 as a 3-man business. To begin with it supplied mainly the domestic advertising and packaging industry. Marbach then began a process of internationalization in 1984. In 1995 Marbach started a joint venture in Egypt.
The Managing Partner of the Marbach Group, Peter Marbach, has donated an internal bonus to the Wartberg School.
Marbach has developed a new technology for full sheet delivery. Marbach customer Westrock has been using the Marbach universal sheet delivery system for a few months now and is highly impressed by the Marbach solution.
