The portfolio of Marbach Die Supplies (MDS) includes machines, equipment and materials for diemaking. However, MDS not only supplies diemakers, but also packaging manufacturers with materials for their day-to-day requirements, as well as equipment for the die-cutting industry.
André Angermeir: "For maximum productivity in packaging production, not only the die-cutting machine and the die-cutting technologies used play a decisive role. An important point here is also tool preparation. After all, what's the point if the die-cutting machine and the tool are in top shape, but even small operations that become necessary during production, eat up valuable time? To ensure that the preparation of the cutting-die can be carried out quickly and efficiently, we offer workbenches in combination with special hand tools that ensure greater productivity in production."
Angermeir: "While the mbench|smart is particularly suitable for quick repairs directly on site, because it can be used flexibly in all areas of production and combines all the important equipment for cutting-die repair at one workstation, the mbench|pro is the ideal solution for work preparation. The two workbenches can be equipped with the appropriate hand tools. In this way, our customers' cutting-dies are optimally prepared for their production use."
Hand tool mcut|multi.
The mcut|multi is a rule processing device that combines the functionality of 3 devices in one. It is used directly at the processing machine or in the work preparation process. With the mcut|multi, rule materials can be cut to length and notched, and lips and double noses can also be cut.
Hand tool mcut|round.
The mcut|round is a manual device for cutting defined radii at the end of creasing rules. It can be used for both flat and rotary creasing rules to cut different radii. This prevents the paperboard from cracking at the ends of the creasing rules. The results are consistent high-quality creasing.
Hand tool mcut|matrix.
The mcut|matrix is a device for cutting creasing matrix. Its special mechanism reduces the cutting force, and ensures fast and precise cutting. Its design makes it very robust and flexible in use.
Hand tool mbend.
The mbend is a manual bending device for rule materials. It can be used to bend rules in thicknesses from 1 pt to 4 pt. It has a comprehensive range of features: a lockable depth gauge with scale ensures precision in bending settings. In addition, the scope of delivery includes 2 standard bending sets as well as individually assembled bending sets from more than 100 different options. Further geometries can be implemented as required.
Equipment from Marbach Die Supplies can be individually assembled depending on requirements.

In 1923, the Marbach company began as a 3-man workshop in Heilbronn, Baden-Württemberg. 100 years later, the small craftsman business has become a global market leader operating worldwide. Today, the Marbach Group, with its 1,600 employees around the world, is a key partner for the global packaging industry.
Such a long company history cannot be taken for granted – in Germany only a little more than 1% of the companies ever reach 100 years. The fact that we have managed to achieve this, is due to many different factors.
Our story reads like an exciting novel.
In addition to materials for packaging manufacturers, our division Marbach Die Supplies also supplies equipment for the die-cutting process. This includes two mobile workbenches mbench|smart and mbench|pro. These are distinguished by their flexible application possibilities.
The workbenches in the mbench series are not only equipped with smooth-running heavy-duty wheels for flexible use, but also offer an ideal work surface, storage space for tools and materials, as well as the option of fitting them with suitable hand tools. This means that tools can be repaired and processed in a minimum of space.
With the Marbach lower pin unit, we have a tool on the market that is mainly used for jobs where the requirements for waste-free die-cut blanks are very high. This is because waste is stripped in an especially reliable way with the lower pin unit in these applications.
Lower pin units are used in the stripping station of a die-cutting machine. They are particularly useful when very small waste parts have to be stripped and when maximum reliability is required during stripping.
For us, an eventful but also successful year is coming to an end. Right at the beginning of the year, the war in Ukraine caused market turbulence and triggered a procurement crisis. We met these challenges with good planning and inventory management.
For many years now, we have traditionally donated 10,000 € to aid projects at Christmas under the motto "Donations instead of gifts". This year, due to the difficult situation in Ukraine, the management of Marbach decided to donate the entire amount to aid projects in connection with the war in Ukraine.
