Marbach Asia Pacific in Kuala Lumpur organized once again Open House Days on 3rd and 4th October 2019. More than 100 visitors attended: brand owners, politicians and, of course, customers and interested parties from the packaging industry. All were able to convince themselves of the high-performance standards at the South-east Asian plant of the Marbach Group.
Markus Stegmann, Managing Director at Marbach Asia Pacific: "We are delighted that so many visitors came to our Oktoberfest. For the fourth time already, we have opened our doors to customers and interested parties. The feedback has been outstanding. Above all, the interest in our latest innovations has been very high. We can see from this that our customers in the Asian region, too, are increasingly demanding better performance in their packaging production."
Over a period of two days, Marbach Asia Pacific offered its visitors an exciting program in an Oktoberfest atmosphere. In addition to factory tours and presentations on the subject of "die-cutting technology for packaging", there were live demonstrations of Marbach tools. These took place on a BOBST Novacut 106ER, which is in the meantime the third BOBST die-cutting machine under the roof of Marbach Asia Pacific. Traditional Bavarian food and drinks ensured the physical well-being of the visitors. As a special highlight, all Marbach Asia Pacific employees dressed in traditional Bavarian dirndls and leather trousers.
Marbach is already looking forward to the opening of drupa on 16 June 2020. The most important international trade fair for the printing industry, which takes place every four years, is a very special highlight for Marbach. In addition to its latest innovations, Marbach will present its extended portfolio of packaging services in Duesseldorf.
With its calibration tool package, Marbach ensures that its customers can quickly and easily re-adjust the components of their die-cutting machine for flat die-cutting of corrugated board. This results in a significant reduction of set-up and make-ready times.
Marbach started its training program one and a half years ago. Under the name "Marbach Academy. More knowledge. More skills." Today Marbach offers practice-oriented training courses in all aspects of die-cutting packaging. The new training program for 2020 is now available
The portfolio of Marbach Die Supplies includes materials for the rubbering of cutting-dies. When it comes to rubber materials, the most important thing is that they are resistant and durable. When used in the right place in the cutting-die, they ensure that the paperboard material is ejected optimally during the cutting process. In addition, they ensure the stability of the nicks and thus provide smooth production processes in the die-cutting machine.
