Marbach Asia Pacific in Kuala Lumpur organized once again Open House Days on 3rd and 4th October 2019. More than 100 visitors attended: brand owners, politicians and, of course, customers and interested parties from the packaging industry. All were able to convince themselves of the high-performance standards at the South-east Asian plant of the Marbach Group.
Markus Stegmann, Managing Director at Marbach Asia Pacific: "We are delighted that so many visitors came to our Oktoberfest. For the fourth time already, we have opened our doors to customers and interested parties. The feedback has been outstanding. Above all, the interest in our latest innovations has been very high. We can see from this that our customers in the Asian region, too, are increasingly demanding better performance in their packaging production."
Over a period of two days, Marbach Asia Pacific offered its visitors an exciting program in an Oktoberfest atmosphere. In addition to factory tours and presentations on the subject of "die-cutting technology for packaging", there were live demonstrations of Marbach tools. These took place on a BOBST Novacut 106ER, which is in the meantime the third BOBST die-cutting machine under the roof of Marbach Asia Pacific. Traditional Bavarian food and drinks ensured the physical well-being of the visitors. As a special highlight, all Marbach Asia Pacific employees dressed in traditional Bavarian dirndls and leather trousers.
Marbach has recently introduced its new split height-adjustable anvil for reducing make-ready times during reverse cutting. Since its introduction Marbach has sold this innovative technology many times over. Customers using tools with a split height-adjustable anvil are very impressed.
Marbach has developed a new bottom pin unit including special high precision lower pins which has been successfully used by the first customers. With a bottom pin unit, waste is safely stripped during the production of packaging. Customer Establecimento Grafico Impresores from Argentina is enthusiastic about the performance of the new Marbach product.
Marbach has been working at full speed to up its website for the upcoming drupa 2020 and give it a design relaunch. Even though drupa will not take place until 2021, the company does not want to withhold the new website from its customers.
