The portfolio of Marbach Die Supplies (MDS) includes machines, equipment and materials for diemaking. Everything from a single source. However, MDS not only supplies diemakers, but also packaging manufacturers with materials for their daily needs as well as equipment and machinery for the diecutting sector. For packaging manufacturers with their own diemaking facilities, Marbach supplies the appropriate in-house dieshop concept.
André Angermeir, Sales Manager Marbach Die Supplies: "For some packaging manufacturers, in addition to working with external suppliers such as Marbach Stanzformtechnik, find it important to produce, rework and resize simple cutting-dies independently and at short notice. For this they need the right equipment. Marbach Die Supplies not only supplies the appropriate equipment for this, but from the start a comprehensive concept."
With know-how gained from almost 100 years of experience in die-cutting technology, Marbach knows exactly what equipment is required for an in-house dieshop. This includes advice on practical and efficient processes that packaging manufacturers can implement themselves. But also when a task may be better executed by a specialized diemaker with more advanced machinery.
Angermeir continues: "We design an individual concept for the customers that offer them a high degree of flexibility coupled with strong performance. Our experienced employees have successfully completed projects around the globe. On duty worldwide, our service team provides the appropriate technical support to ensure that the cutting-dies produced actually work. We create ideal conditions for producing or revising simple cutting-dies in a targeted and speedy manner."
The in-house dieshop concept from Marbach Die Supplies entails complete and individual fitting out. This includes supplying laser cutting machines, automatic bending machines as well as the milling machine such as our mgrav|multi. Additionally, assembly tables, dimensioning accessories such as cutters, benders, nick grinders and other manual tools and the appropriate materials are also integrated practically into the ready-to-use concept. Furthermore, customers receive their high-performance cutting-dies, stripping and blanking tools as well as various services from Marbach Stanzformtechnik. Everything from a single source.
In 1923, the Marbach company began as a 3-man workshop in Heilbronn, Baden-Württemberg. 100 years later, the small craftsman business has become a global market leader operating worldwide. Today, the Marbach Group, with its 1,600 employees around the world, is a key partner for the global packaging industry.
Such a long company history cannot be taken for granted – in Germany only a little more than 1% of the companies ever reach 100 years. The fact that we have managed to achieve this, is due to many different factors.
Our story reads like an exciting novel.
In addition to materials for packaging manufacturers, our division Marbach Die Supplies also supplies equipment for the die-cutting process. This includes two mobile workbenches mbench|smart and mbench|pro. These are distinguished by their flexible application possibilities.
The workbenches in the mbench series are not only equipped with smooth-running heavy-duty wheels for flexible use, but also offer an ideal work surface, storage space for tools and materials, as well as the option of fitting them with suitable hand tools. This means that tools can be repaired and processed in a minimum of space.
With the Marbach lower pin unit, we have a tool on the market that is mainly used for jobs where the requirements for waste-free die-cut blanks are very high. This is because waste is stripped in an especially reliable way with the lower pin unit in these applications.
Lower pin units are used in the stripping station of a die-cutting machine. They are particularly useful when very small waste parts have to be stripped and when maximum reliability is required during stripping.
For us, an eventful but also successful year is coming to an end. Right at the beginning of the year, the war in Ukraine caused market turbulence and triggered a procurement crisis. We met these challenges with good planning and inventory management.
For many years now, we have traditionally donated 10,000 € to aid projects at Christmas under the motto "Donations instead of gifts". This year, due to the difficult situation in Ukraine, the management of Marbach decided to donate the entire amount to aid projects in connection with the war in Ukraine.
