Marbach Werkzeugbau has a new managing director. On 1st September 2019 Markus Britsch has taken over the management of Marbach Werkzeugbau GmbH.
Markus Britsch (45) is an industrial engineer and has been working in the packaging industry for more than 10 years. As a member of the management board of the Huber Packaging Group he was responsible for the operative business Industrial and Beverage.
Peter Marbach, Owner and Managing Director: "We are pleased that Markus Britsch will strengthen our management team in the future. His experience and knowledge of the industry will generate fresh impetus and new ideas. Welcome to the Marbach team."
Marbach has sold its 500th digital zone levelling. This special protection plate called DZL|plate compensates for unevenness in the platen. It only has to be inserted into the die-cutting machine once and will last for many months. This contrasts to the conventional type of zone levelling, which must be carried out for each individual job.
Marbach has recently added a new technology to its portfolio under the name Universal Sheet Delivery. The Universal Sheet Delivery is a tool that can be used to supplement the sheet delivery in the die-cutting machine so it can be quickly and easily adapted to each individual job. The first customers are already using the new Marbach tool.
Marbach has been for many years a specialist for equipping packages with elegant opening mechanisms. This requires highest precision. In order to adjust tools quickly and precisely with reverse cutting, Marbach offers a special technology: the height-adjustable anvil. Now optimized it ensures even more accuracy when setting up tools with reverse cutting.
Each year Marbach offers apprenticeships to more than 15 young people. Altogether there are more than 50 apprentices at various stages of training. There are many different professions beginning with "standard professions" such as industrial clerk (m/f/d) or toolmaker (m/f/d). But there are also less known professions. One of these is the packaging technician (m/f/d).
