With its stripping technologies, Marbach has an extensive portfolio on the market for smooth processes and waste-free stripping. An important product, and the basic requirement for a stable stripping process, is the precision set-up aid marbapoint. The male and female strippers are precisely positioned in relation to each other. The marbapoint is therefore a simple and cost-effective way to optimize the setup process.
Sales manager Bernhard Reisser: "Our customers who use the marbapoint are all enthusiastic about the shorter set-up time, the simple handling and the increased security of their stripping process."
The stripping process plays an important role in the production of packaging.
In addition to maximum efficiency, waste-free packaging blanks play an important role. The basis of a stable stripping process is, on the one hand, a stripping tool perfectly adapted to the sheet and, on the other hand, the optimum positioning of the male stripper to the female stripper. This is the basis for the Marbach product marbapoint.
Reisser continues: "To ensure that the stripping process runs optimally during packaging production, the cutting sheet as well as the male and female stripper must be optimally positioned in relation to each other. Failing this, the process can be disrupted. The conventional set-up of a stripping tool is quite complicated and time-consuming. But not so with our marbapoint. The exact positioning of the male and female stripper becomes child's play. It is simply plugged into a socket in the upper tool and switched on. A specially calibrated laser beam, which is directed at a centering cross on the lower part, shows the user the optimum position of male stripper to female stripper. This is quick and easy. Our customers not only save time during setup, but are also able to lay the foundation for an optimum stripping process with maximum productivity and waste-free operation."
Time saved during setup and improved process reliability increase productivity during stripping. Thus, the purchase of a marbapoint pays for itself within a very short time.
Marbach has added a new blanking tool to its product range. The alublanker is, as its name suggests, made of aluminum and completely CNC-milled. One of the first customers to use the alublanker is Marbach's long-standing partner MPS in Obersulm - a company of the Consumer Packaging Business of the WestRock Group. The Obersulm site produces high-quality folding cartons for the international perfume and cosmetics industry.
Marbach has published a new whitepaper for tobacco applications on its knowledge platform, the Experience Hub.
Marbach provides solutions to ensure top performance for its customers. In order to make packaging more attractive and to visually highlight individual elements of packing, the embellishment process of embossing is often used. As an eye-catcher, it increases the impact of a package at the point of sale. This then has a sales-promoting effect for the packaged product. If the embossing process is not integrated into the die-cutting process but is carried out separately, this is known as embossing and die-cutting in two passes. This is more time-consuming than an embossing process integrated into the die-cutting process. But here, too, set-up times can be minimized.
The portfolio of Marbach Die Supplies (MDS) includes machines, equipment and materials for diemaking. In particular, MDS has expanded its range of manual devices in recent months. Among the most popular of these is the mcut|multi multifunctional cutting tool. It cuts rule materials quickly and without deformation. Plastika Mostar in Slovenia is already using mcut|multi and is very impressed.
