Marbach now offers its customers a new service: die-cutting of samples in Heilbronn. Marbach customers can thus keep their own machine capacities free for their production orders and easily outsource samples for packaging and filling tests or limited editions. Marbach currently die-cuts on a BRAUSSE 1060ER.
Jan Brunner, Head of Business Development at Marbach: "We are pleased to offer this service to our customers and with immediate effect. Already first orders have been successfully carried out."
The Marbach service can be very flexibly arranged. Die-cutting with a Marbach tool package is possible as well as with a tool package from the customer. What is important is a suitable machine format which is coordinated in advance. As well as all other necessary parameters. It is possible to die-cut with stock material from Marbach as well as with printed customer material.
Brunner continues: "With our new service we support our customers in keeping their machines free for their production orders. And, the mostly time-consuming die-cutting of samples can simply be taken over by us."
Marbach is expanding its service portfolio under the heading ‘360° services step by step’ in order to support its customers' individual requirements in the best possible way.
Marbach has added a new blanking tool to its product range. The alublanker is, as its name suggests, made of aluminum and completely CNC-milled. One of the first customers to use the alublanker is Marbach's long-standing partner MPS in Obersulm - a company of the Consumer Packaging Business of the WestRock Group. The Obersulm site produces high-quality folding cartons for the international perfume and cosmetics industry.
Marbach has published a new whitepaper for tobacco applications on its knowledge platform, the Experience Hub.
Marbach provides solutions to ensure top performance for its customers. In order to make packaging more attractive and to visually highlight individual elements of packing, the embellishment process of embossing is often used. As an eye-catcher, it increases the impact of a package at the point of sale. This then has a sales-promoting effect for the packaged product. If the embossing process is not integrated into the die-cutting process but is carried out separately, this is known as embossing and die-cutting in two passes. This is more time-consuming than an embossing process integrated into the die-cutting process. But here, too, set-up times can be minimized.
The portfolio of Marbach Die Supplies (MDS) includes machines, equipment and materials for diemaking. In particular, MDS has expanded its range of manual devices in recent months. Among the most popular of these is the mcut|multi multifunctional cutting tool. It cuts rule materials quickly and without deformation. Plastika Mostar in Slovenia is already using mcut|multi and is very impressed.
