Marbach participated in the virtual trade show ConneXion already for the second time. During the 8 days of the ConneXion exhibition numerous visitors informed themselves about news in the packaging industry. Marbach presented its latest new developments for more performance in packaging production.
Tina Dost, Marketing Manager at Marbach: "The participation at ConneXion was again very exciting for us. After participating in the first version of ConneXion last November and exhibiting at virtual.drupa this April, we were able to use our previous experience with online exhibitions. We were able to make numerous contacts here."
Packaging manufacturers, brand owners and suppliers came together again at this year’s ConneXion. 24/7, visitors were able to obtain comprehensive information and also network intensively with each other, independent of time constraints. A successful event where Marbach could once again present its latest innovations to a broad audience.
Marbach has added a new blanking tool to its product range. The alublanker is, as its name suggests, made of aluminum and completely CNC-milled. One of the first customers to use the alublanker is Marbach's long-standing partner MPS in Obersulm - a company of the Consumer Packaging Business of the WestRock Group. The Obersulm site produces high-quality folding cartons for the international perfume and cosmetics industry.
Marbach has published a new whitepaper for tobacco applications on its knowledge platform, the Experience Hub.
Marbach provides solutions to ensure top performance for its customers. In order to make packaging more attractive and to visually highlight individual elements of packing, the embellishment process of embossing is often used. As an eye-catcher, it increases the impact of a package at the point of sale. This then has a sales-promoting effect for the packaged product. If the embossing process is not integrated into the die-cutting process but is carried out separately, this is known as embossing and die-cutting in two passes. This is more time-consuming than an embossing process integrated into the die-cutting process. But here, too, set-up times can be minimized.
The portfolio of Marbach Die Supplies (MDS) includes machines, equipment and materials for diemaking. In particular, MDS has expanded its range of manual devices in recent months. Among the most popular of these is the mcut|multi multifunctional cutting tool. It cuts rule materials quickly and without deformation. Plastika Mostar in Slovenia is already using mcut|multi and is very impressed.
