Marbach Asia Pacific, the subsidiary of the Marbach Group in South-east asia, has recently installed a new die-cutting machine that will stay at the company for at least two years. The global manufacturer of cutting-dies can now showcase its tools in action on the Bobst Novacut 106 ER. This machine is equipped with all the important features, such as quick lock frames, 1mm plate exchange system with micrometer adjustment, and most importantly also a blanking unit.
“Automatic blanking is not very common in south east Asia and, as a result, still an interesting topic for customers in this area,” says Markus Stegmann, CEO Marbach Asia Pacific. “The new Marbach lightblanker is a light and modular blanking tool that is cost-efficient and therefore perfect for jobs that have been separated manually so far. Its base frame can stay in the machine and can be adjusted quickly each time according to the job-specific blanking grid.”
For the next two years, Bobst and Marbach customers can see live at the Marbach plant how a time-consuming manual separating process is replaced by a single, automatic, operation with the Novacut 106 ER that runs on Marbach tools. These automatic processes are not only more efficient than manual ones, but also improve the quality of the produced packaging.
Both, Bobst and Marbach will use the machine for internal and external training, demonstrations and test runs. And can show this new level of the postpress process. For the best performance. Also, special events with workshops will take place. Stegmann continues: “In March, an open house will take place at our location. This event is one of the things I particularly look forward to. With special guests. And a lot of interesting topics to discuss.
Marbach opened its Marbach Academy in 2017. In its first year, more than 220 participants visited the training center in Heilbronn. And since then the number has been constantly growing. Marbach is training the industry in the die-cutting process.
An eventful year has come to an end for the cutting-die and thermoforming tool manufacturer Marbach. Marbach has a nice tradition of making donations at Christmas instead of giving presents to customers. When selecting recipients, it is important for the Marbach management to divide the money between internationally known and regionally respected institutions. Because the Heilbronn-based company is active all over the world .This year, Marbach has donated 7,000 euros to help in Burkina Faso and 3,000 euros to the protection against freezing to death by the Aufbaugilde Heilbronn.
The focus of Marbach is optimizing the performance of its customers. For this reason Marbach offers extensive services. In addition to training on the subject of die-cutting packaging, Marbach now also offers packaging services in its portfolio.
