Steel-rule tools have a long tradition at Marbach. Since 1923. With them, the success story of the company began. Today, Marbach processes several 1.000 meters of rules per day. In more than 200 cutting-dies. For diverse packaging. Of paperboard. Or corrugated board.
But Marbach not only manufactures cutting-dies for packaging made of board. But also thermoforming tools. For more than 50 years. For the production of packaging made of plastics. As yoghurt cups. Lids. Trays. In match-metal technology. Or Steel-Rule technology. Marbach Steel-Rule tools connect the two Marbach areas cutting die technology and thermoforming tool making. With an unique concentrated expert knowledge.
As Steel-Rule technology uses special steel-rule tools (cutting-dies) in thermoforming processes. Marbach has an unique expertise in this area. Through decades of experience. Its high professional competence. And numerous innovations. Like special Marbach rules. That ensure optimal equipped SR-tools. Your benefit: best results.
Marbach has now invested in a three station steel rule plant. To provide its customers more than perfect tool technologies. The Kiefel KMD85. On this machine, tools of different machine suppliers can be tested and purposefully optimized. For the best performance.
As a tool manufacturer, Marbach is traditionally a link between individual customer requirements and the machine. An in-house plant allows us to test customer tools. But also to further develop new technologies. That can be tested only insufficiently during the daily production business. They are developed to make things easier for you. For more performance. Of your tools. And your production. For you. And your customers.
Marbach was recently visited by its customer Å&R Carton Lund AB for an audit. Å&R Carton looked closely at Marbach from a number of viewpoints and certified Marbach with a very good performance.
With its marbanick|2 for paperboard tools, Marbach has brought a hand tool onto the market that convinces users with its flexibility and simplicity. Since its introduction in May 2018, Marbach has sold almost 200 of these hand-held devices.
Marbach expands its Die Supplies & Automation division. From 01 February 2019, André Angermeir joins the Marbach team as the new Sales Manager. With Angermeir, Marbach has been able to gain an industry insider with a wealth of experience in the world of cutting-dies.
Marbach expands further. After having opened die production facilities in the USA, Malaysia and China in the past years, Marbach will open a Marbach Die Supplies subsidiary in Mexico in January. From here Marbach will supply materials to Mexican and North American die and packaging manufacturers. In addition, training in the application of technologies will be offered. Marbach's goal is to support the Mexican market in its further development.
