We have recently launched our new blanking tool, the alublanker. Available in 102-106 format, this tool is characterized by its light weight and high precision. In recent months, more and more Marbach customers have discovered the alublanker and are successfully using it to separate blanks in their packaging production.
The alublanker is a high-precision blanking tool lower part, made entirely of one piece and manufactured in one milling operation. The separating grid is made of aluminum and is completely CNC machined. This design and the choice of materials not only ensure low weight and thus optimal handling, but also high machine speeds, short set-up times and high packaging quality.
Bernhard Reisser, industry manager folding carton at Marbach: "Our customers are enthusiastic about the new alublanker. On the one hand, the low weight is impressive, because it only takes a single machine operator to install and set up the tool in the die-cutting machine. This saves our customers valuable time and therefore money. On the other hand, productivity is a key issue for our customers. Here too, the alublanker has a lot to offer thanks to its high precision. Our customers report maximum speeds without stoppages in the blank separation unit, and resulting in perfectly stacked blanks. In summary, the alublanker stands for perfect stacking, reduced set-up times, high packaging quality without any marks, and high machine speeds. It is therefore a must-have in packaging production. One of our customers has even called the alublanker Marbach's greatest innovation. We are very happy about this feedback, and the success of the alublanker proves that we did everything right when developing this new tool."
The Marbach alublanker is available in marbablanker and lightblanker versions.

The Marbach Group celebrates its 100th anniversary in 2023. Despite the now sizeable company of more than 1,600 employees worldwide, Marbach has never forgotten its roots. Because Marbach is aware that the roots of the company's success story are found in the people, the employees, who have supported the company through the last 100 years.
We have published a new whitepaper on our knowledge platform, the Experience Hub, on the topic of optimizing make-ready times.
In 2023, Marbach, whose exciting success story is unique, will be 100 years. But how did we become the corporate group we are today? One of the most important decisions here was certainly the investment in the very first CO2 laser system for cutting-die production in Europe. In the years that followed, laser technology became a cornerstone of the success of the Marbach Group – and pioneering for the entire die-cutting technology worldwide.
