This year Marbach has launched a new reverse-cutting technology. Under the name of split anvil Marbach has developed a special reverse-cutting technology which allows the production of particularly elegant opening mechanisms for packaging. Marbach America’s customer Unimac Graphics has already used this technology several times and is suitably impressed with the results.
Tom McCoy, Director of Bindery Services at Unimac Graphics can testify to this: "We have ordered this system over and over. Using this new split anvil system from Marbach we have had outstanding results. Not only have we been able to significantly reduce make-ready times, but the stability of the die-cutting process and the repeatability we have found this system to possess is unbelievable! Marbach has done a really great job with this. Thank you very much for this great new tool technology."
The split anvil can be used for all applications where conventional reverse-cutting technology was previously used.
Marbach has recently extended its portfolio. From now on Marbach will also produce high-precision steel rule dies for cold cut packaging. In the food industry these are mainly used for sliced sausage and cheese.
Marbach offers a special storage system for cutting-dies with its aptly named Marbach Die Storage System (MDSS). The MDSS is available for flat cutting-die packages of up to 2,000 mm format and recently, also for rotary dies up to a diameter of 690mm.
Marbach Die Supplies & Automation has hit the nail on the head with its mlas|compact-2 laser system. It combines speed, cutting quality and user-friendliness in one single machine.
