The Marbach Group can already say that this year’s drupa has been a huge success for the company. The world leader in die-cutting technology could register record attendance at its booth. Also the quality of the visitors was outstanding. The Marbach stand attracted numerous visitors with a new corporate design, new trade fair concept and exciting product innovations. There have been over 2,000 registered contacts during the 11 exhibition days.
Incredible rush of visitors
Marketing manager Tina Dost: “The rush of visitors at our booth was incredible. Among the visitors were many established customers but also numerous new contacts. We are more than happy with our number of visitors. Our new corporate design was very well received. And also the interest in our new product developments was unique.”
The right solution for every requirement
Special interest was given to Marbach’s new digital zone leveling. This sophisticated system brings every die-cutting machine into good shape. Uneven areas of the platen that evolve over time when using the machine can be compensated permanently. This reduces make-ready times significantly. Together with the mpower|+ technology and the make-ready sheet magic sheet, the digital zone leveling forms the dream team for diecutting with minimal patching.
For blanking, Marbach introduced its new tool marbablanker. This is characterized by its special construction and an especially easy handling.
But also the topic refinement and finishing was focused by the visitors. With special technologies like pure edge, reverse cutting, marbafoil and the thinplate Marbach has the right solution for every requirement.
Moreover Marbach showed with its certified hygiene cutting die marbaclean that product safety and hygiene also involve the die-cutting process. A topic, from which we certainly will be hearing a lot more of in the future. Especially in the food industry.
New products for absolute performance
Tina Dost: “The visitors have been interested in our new products. The topics reduction of make-ready time, finishing, production speed and hygiene have been considered particularly important by our visitors. Numerous companies have already decided at the exhibition that they want to test our new technologies. We are looking forward to the post-drupa time in which we will provide our existing and new customers with the best performance.”
Through its Die Supplies & Automation (MDS&A) division Marbach sells machines to die-makers. In addition to laser systems and water jet systems, Marbach has milling machines in its portfolio. The mgrav|2 is its most successful milling machine.
Marbach developed some time ago a special technology for reverse cutting to save make-ready time. This technology, known as the height-adjustable anvil, is very popular in the market. Until now, the use of this technology has been limited to high-tech duramar tools or corrugated board tools. But the height-adjustable anvil is now also available in a new version for standard folding box tools.
