How time flies! Only 2 more years - and drupa in Düsseldorf will open its doors. Marbach has not only signed up, but has already started planning intensively.
New performance products for drupa 2020
Marketing Manager Tina Dost: "After the record visitor attendance at our stand in 2016, we naturally have high expectations for our participation in 2020 and want to offer our visitors even more highlights than at the previous drupa. That's why we have started planning especially early this time. And are already enthusiastically developing new performance products for our customers."
Successful innovations at drupa 2016
In 2016, Marbach presented its customers many innovations that have since then established themselves in the market. Since drupa 2016, for example, more than 250 machines have been equipped with digital zone levelling, which is used to equalize machine unevenness. Marbach presented various refinement technologies at drupa 2016 to ensure flawless packaging at the point of sale and greater efficiency in finishing. In addition to the pure edge technology for pure visible edges in corrugated board packaging, this included the reverse-cutting technology for beautiful tear-open mechanisms and the hot foil stamping technologies marbafoil and thinplate.
Dost continues: "To top the success of our last drupa will be challenging. But we are very much looking forward to offering our visitors a range of new products to increase their performance in 2020. The right solution for every requirement."
Marbach has a new technology in its portfolio. The universal sheet delivery is a tool with which sheet delivery in the die-cutting machine can be extended so that the delivery of the paperboard sheets can be quickly and easily adapted to each individual job.
Marbach Werkzeugbau is currently working intensively on the topics of digitization and industry 4.0. The main focus here is on digital solutions for tools, processes and services. Within the scope of this project, Marbach has analyzed the future requirements of its customers. The results of this are the two components CONNECT|M and CONNECT|AR (Augmented Reality). CONNECT|M is a technology that intelligently connects the thermoforming tool, Marbach and the customer. CONNECT|AR is about virtual customer support via remote maintenance.
Marbach offers an extensive portfolio of dieboards. The suitable dieboard can be selected according to the requirements of the customer or the particular order. The dieboard forms the basis of a cutting-die. The contours of the packaging are first inserted into the dieboard, then the cutting and creasing rules are positioned and finally the appropriate rubber coating is applied.
Through its Die Supplies & Automation (MDS&A) division Marbach sells machines to die-makers. In addition to laser systems and water jet systems, Marbach has milling machines in its portfolio. The mgrav|2 is its most successful milling machine.
