Marbach presented at the CCE International in Munich innovations from its broad product portfolio. Many interested visitors were keen to learn more about the newest Marbach innovatons by the booth team. From refinement to die-cutting with reduced make-ready times to stripping and blanking. Marbach exhibited various technologies that provide best performance in packaging production.
Silvio Gruber, Sales director: “This was our first time as an exhibitor at the CCE. A small but excellent trade fair with a very interesting expert public. We had a lot of remarkable talks and the feedback about our showcased innovations was very good. Our initial assessment: a successful event.”
The Heilbronn-based cutting-die manufacturer presented products such as mpower|+, magic sheet as well as its new digital zone levelling technology. With these products Marbach customers can reduce their make-ready times significantly. Also the topic 'packaging refinement' with the marbafoil technology was focus of the visitors’ interest.
Gruber continues: “Of course that wasn’t all. Rotary die-cutting with our high-performance tool marbaspeed|r was also an important topic for our visitors. As was efficient stripping and blanking with the Marbach technologies masterstrip|plate, marbablanker and lightblanker.”
Moreover, Marbach presented its newest tooling package marbaclean. This is characterized by hygienically clean die-cutting. Because it is equipped with special safeguards and also with materials that are certified for the food industry. Moreover there is the additional option for disinfection the tools. A tool package for highest requirements in hygiene.”
Marbach has a new technology in its portfolio. The universal sheet delivery is a tool with which sheet delivery in the die-cutting machine can be extended so that the delivery of the paperboard sheets can be quickly and easily adapted to each individual job.
Marbach Werkzeugbau is currently working intensively on the topics of digitization and industry 4.0. The main focus here is on digital solutions for tools, processes and services. Within the scope of this project, Marbach has analyzed the future requirements of its customers. The results of this are the two components CONNECT|M and CONNECT|AR (Augmented Reality). CONNECT|M is a technology that intelligently connects the thermoforming tool, Marbach and the customer. CONNECT|AR is about virtual customer support via remote maintenance.
Marbach offers an extensive portfolio of dieboards. The suitable dieboard can be selected according to the requirements of the customer or the particular order. The dieboard forms the basis of a cutting-die. The contours of the packaging are first inserted into the dieboard, then the cutting and creasing rules are positioned and finally the appropriate rubber coating is applied.
Through its Die Supplies & Automation (MDS&A) division Marbach sells machines to die-makers. In addition to laser systems and water jet systems, Marbach has milling machines in its portfolio. The mgrav|2 is its most successful milling machine.
