Marbach Trade & Logistics offers a wide range of materials for the cutting-die production. There are different possibilities when choosing the fitting counter plate for a job. One of them is the phenolic counter rillma.
Simple. And cost-efficient. That’s how rillma can be characterized. This tailor-made solution made from phenolic counter material with milled creasing channels has been used as a counter plate for decades. Mostly for small quantities. And simple requirements. Special about the Marbach phenolic counter material is that rillma and rillma+ are available in steps of 0,05 mm thickness. Through these fine increments, the Marbach phenolic counter material can be matched perfectly to the paperboard in use. The material has very close tolerances. It is used worldwide. Tried and proven quality that will convince you.
The process when using phenolic counter material is very simple: for every up, one phenolic counter is produced and positioned onto the cutting plate using transfer pins.
Marbach offers phenolic material in different types. There are two material qualities: rillma and rillma+. rillma is recommended for small quantities and basic requirements. rillma+ is the top quality equivalent with a longer life span.
Kraiss continues: “The width and depth of the milled creasing channels and the used material depends on factors such as thickness and quality of the paperboard. That’s why rillma is available in different material thickness up to 1,2mm. rillma can be ordered in two sizes – 1,070 mm x 1,070 mm and 1,070 mm x 535 mm.”
The Marbach materials can be delivered without branding upon request. The phenolic counter material can also be ordered with or without adhesive foil on the back.
But phenolic counters can also reach their limits. For jobs with a long runtime and high requirements to the creasing quality, Kraiss recommends the Marbach steel counter plate: “This is part of Marbach’s portfolio. Either cut to size and milled or – in different degrees of hardness – as a raw material for in-house manufacturing. At Marbach we supply everything concerning cutting-die manufacturing. From one source. This makes it especially easy for our customers.” He suggests a visit to the newly designed webshop: “We adapted the shop to meet our new Marbach corporate design. It is now more modern. With a clear and structured design. Always worth a visit.”
