Marbach recently launched a new system under the name Embossing Register System IV. This allows embossing plates to be set up quickly and easily on embossing dies. With the Marbach system, users can save time when setting up the embossing dies and thus reduce machine downtimes.
For customers who perform embossing and die cutting/scoring in two separate operations, Marbach has developed a solution that makes setting up the embossing dies to the printed image more accurate and significantly more efficient.
In order to produce visually appealing packaging with beautiful embossing, the register of embossing plates to the printed image plays a decisive role. In practice, it is often very time-consuming until the embossing dies match the printed image perfectly. With the dimensionally stable embossing dies from Marbach, the position is set-up in advance. Still the subsequent fine adjustment to the print image can still be a time-consuming process for the machine operator, especially with many embossings on a sheet.
Jan Brunner, Head of Business Development at Marbach: "With our Embossing Register System IV, custom-made steel bolts ensure that each individual embossing plate can be adjusted very precisely to the print image. For our customers, this means not only beautiful embossing results, but also significant time savings. This has been confirmed by the comments of our customers who are already using the Embossing Register System IV."
The Embossing Register System IV is available in a set with 20 pens.
Marbach introduced its hand-held tool marbanick|2 to the market some time ago. Operators are enabled to quickly and easily insert waste nicks into cutting rules. So more and more customers now use the marbanick|2 in their production.
With its premium stripping tool masterstrip|plate, Marbach has for several years, been offering the market a special stripping technology that ensures fast and reliable stripping. This tool is becoming more and more the market standard.
Marbach has seen great potential for its specially produced polymar embossing. For this reason, Marbach has steadily invested in the required equipment at its locations worldwide in order to be able to produce polymar embossings locally.
Since the presentation of its mlas|compact-2 laser system, Marbach has already sold 10 of these machines. A trend that is strengthening. The Marbach laser’s recipe for success is its speed, its excellent cutting quality and a relatively small footprint despite the large machine format.
