Launched at drupa. The new Marbach mplot. Designed to cut. Ejection rubber for cutting-dies. The trade fair visitors were able to convince themselves of the new Marbach machine on-site. Its performance. And quality.
Head of Sales Marbach Automation & Service, Samuel Vial: “The new mplot was well received by our customers. We had numerous inquiries at the exhibition. Since then, we have sold a number of machines. The big advantage of the mplot: the procurement costs are fairly low. But at the same time, the cutting quality is excellent.” The mplot cuts ejection rubber quickly. It is highly efficient. And characterized by a very good ROI. Vial continues: “You simply cannot do anything wrong with the mplot. It delivers high performance. At little expense.”
Marbach Werkzeugbau is currently working intensively on the topics of digitization and industry 4.0. The main focus here is on digital solutions for tools, processes and services. Within the scope of this project, Marbach has analyzed the future requirements of its customers. The results of this are the two components CONNECT|M and CONNECT|AR (Augmented Reality). CONNECT|M is a technology that intelligently connects the thermoforming tool, Marbach and the customer. CONNECT|AR is about virtual customer support via remote maintenance.
Marbach offers an extensive portfolio of dieboards. The suitable dieboard can be selected according to the requirements of the customer or the particular order. The dieboard forms the basis of a cutting-die. The contours of the packaging are first inserted into the dieboard, then the cutting and creasing rules are positioned and finally the appropriate rubber coating is applied.
Through its Die Supplies & Automation (MDS&A) division Marbach sells machines to die-makers. In addition to laser systems and water jet systems, Marbach has milling machines in its portfolio. The mgrav|2 is its most successful milling machine.
Marbach developed some time ago a special technology for reverse cutting to save make-ready time. This technology, known as the height-adjustable anvil, is very popular in the market. Until now, the use of this technology has been limited to high-tech duramar tools or corrugated board tools. But the height-adjustable anvil is now also available in a new version for standard folding box tools.
