Through its Marbach Die Supplies & Automation (MDS&A) division, Marbach sells machines to die-makers. The currently most successful laser system in Marbach's portfolio is the mlas|compact-2.
Thomas Kandlbinder, Head of Automation & Service at Marbach: "The mlas|compact-2 is our most successful laser system due to its many positive features. It is versatile and powerful, cuts wood and steel with perfect parameters. The special precision cutting head with a new type of guidance not only cuts very quickly but also with the highest accuracy, thus delivering the best cutting results. The mlas|compact-2 is extremely low-maintenance as the mechanical components are equipped with an automated lubrication system."
The table size of the Marbach laser is 1,500 x 2,200 mm. For this format, the Marbach machine requires surprisingly little floor space due to its portal design and flying optics. Depending on customer requirements, the mlas|compact-2 can be equipped with a laser source from 1,500 to 2,500 watts. Integrated remote maintenance ensures production reliability and machine availability.
Marbach has recently introduced its new split height-adjustable anvil for reducing make-ready times during reverse cutting. Since its introduction Marbach has sold this innovative technology many times over. Customers using tools with a split height-adjustable anvil are very impressed.
Marbach has developed a new bottom pin unit including special high precision lower pins which has been successfully used by the first customers. With a bottom pin unit, waste is safely stripped during the production of packaging. Customer Establecimento Grafico Impresores from Argentina is enthusiastic about the performance of the new Marbach product.
Marbach has been working at full speed to up its website for the upcoming drupa 2020 and give it a design relaunch. Even though drupa will not take place until 2021, the company does not want to withhold the new website from its customers.
