Since the presentation of its mlas|compact-2 laser system, Marbach has already sold 10 of these machines. A trend that is strengthening. The Marbach laser’s recipe for success is its speed, its excellent cutting quality and a relatively small footprint despite the large machine format.
Thomas Kandlbinder, Director Automation & Service at Marbach: "The mlas|compact-2 is a laser system that is not only fast, but also ensures the best cutting quality. It cuts wood and steel with perfect parameters. The special precision cutting head with its new type of guidance cuts with the highest accuracy and so delivers the best cutting results. Very low maintenance is required as the mechanical components are equipped with an automatic lubrication system. Those of our customers who use this machine are impressed by the many advantages of the mlas|compact-2."
The table size of the Marbach laser is 1,500 x 2,200 mm. Surprisingly little floor space is required for this format, due to its portal design and flying optics. Depending on customer requirements, the mlas|compact-2 can be equipped with a laser source from 1,500 to 2,500 watts. Integrated remote maintenance ensures production reliability and machine availability.
Marbach has continuously expanded its services in the past year. The newest member of the Marbach service family is the Marbach Performance Boost package. By which, Marbach supports its consulting service which makes its own process know-how available to its customers and thereby significantly increasing their productivity during the die-cutting process.
Marbach has been using for some time now a new rubber for rubbering cutting-dies. The name of this high-performance material is flexpower. Certified by ISEGA for use in the food industry, this rubber offers numerous advantages to operators. Marbach uses flexpower in corrugated board tools (both flat and rotary) and also sells it as raw material.
Marbach is one of the large material suppliers in Germany. Under the name Marbach Die Supplies, Marbach offers materials for packaging manufacturers that meet the requirements in the field of die-cutting. In order to support its customers even more in increasing their performance, Marbach has expanded its material portfolio.
Marbach was present at the IADD Odyssey in Atlanta Georgia from May 1 to 3, 2019. At this event Marbach showcased its latest technologies in the fields of die-cutting technology as well as machines and materials for cutting-die production. More than 250 visitors showed particular interest in Marbach and its technologies. During the three days many interesting conversations took place at the two Marbach stands.
