With its Marbach Die Supplies & Automation (MDS&A) division, Marbach sells machines to die-makers. With its systems mlas|compact-1 and mlas|compact-2 Marbach offers powerful laser systems for different requirements.
Benjamin Borzer, Team Leader Sales MDS&A: "Our laser systems are characterized by top functionality in their operation. Why? Quite simply: All our machines are the result of our own die shop’s needs. Because of this, we are more directly involved with user needs during development and and are thus able to develop features that completely meet the requirements of a die-manufacturer. We keep on working until our most critical customer is satisfied: that is our own die-making unit. In this way we ensure the highest functionality of our machines. Only when our own colleagues in die-making are satisfied with the systems we have developed and have tested them extensively will our machines be sold on the open market."
The laser system mlas|compact-1 is a combination laser system in cross table design. This machine is characterized by short set-up times, fast lens changing and good overall performance.
Special equipment features, modern control technology and a small footprint make the mlas|compact-2 the most popular laser system with Marbach customers. The mlas|compact-2 stands for speed, cutting quality, safety and user-friendliness. The best cutting quality is ensured by a new laser beam guidance system. The SLAB laser source provides 1,500 to 2,500 watts. Integrated remote maintenance ensures high production reliability and machine availability.
With an extensive portfolio of laser systems, Marbach offers its customers the right solution for every requirement.
For three years now, Marbach has been one of the few diemakers to operate a die-cutting machine at its site in Heilbronn. The Eterna machine (formerly Brausse) is used for customer and employee training, for tests of in-house developments and also for customer projects with well-known brand owners. In July this year, Marbach and Eterna can look back on 3 years of successful cooperation.
In 2019 the Marbach Group opened another subsidiary of Marbach America in Michigan City, Indiana. Today - 10 months later - the new Marbach family member is well on its way to becoming a strong pillar of the globally active company group.
Marbach is offering a special tool for the quick set-up of embossing plates on embossing dies under the name Embossing Register System IV. With this tool users save time when setting up an embossing die and so reduce machine downtimes.
For several months now Marbach has been offering a new technology in its portfolio under the name of: Universal Sheet Delivery. After the great success of the Universal Sheet Delivery in the 102-106 format, Marbach now also offers this tool for large die-cutting machines in 142-145 format.
