Marbach trains many young people in various professions. Marbach has not only strongly addressed the topic of digitalization within the entire company, but also in the apprenticeship of young people.
Education 4.0 at Marbach
René Haaga, technical training manager at Marbach: "With Industry 4.0 our working world is becoming more and more digital and networked. But not only that - learning with digital media is also becoming more and more popular. The future is digital. With completely new forms of learning and digital learning transfer. Digital media and terminal devices are increasingly being used for learning. With our "Education 4.0 at Marbach" strategy, we seek to follow what we consider to be a very positive trend and to use this as an opportunity to train tomorrow's young people even more efficiently. Because learning must be fun!"
Marbach has added a new blanking tool to its product range. The alublanker is, as its name suggests, made of aluminum and completely CNC-milled. One of the first customers to use the alublanker is Marbach's long-standing partner MPS in Obersulm - a company of the Consumer Packaging Business of the WestRock Group. The Obersulm site produces high-quality folding cartons for the international perfume and cosmetics industry.
Marbach has published a new whitepaper for tobacco applications on its knowledge platform, the Experience Hub.
Marbach provides solutions to ensure top performance for its customers. In order to make packaging more attractive and to visually highlight individual elements of packing, the embellishment process of embossing is often used. As an eye-catcher, it increases the impact of a package at the point of sale. This then has a sales-promoting effect for the packaged product. If the embossing process is not integrated into the die-cutting process but is carried out separately, this is known as embossing and die-cutting in two passes. This is more time-consuming than an embossing process integrated into the die-cutting process. But here, too, set-up times can be minimized.
The portfolio of Marbach Die Supplies (MDS) includes machines, equipment and materials for diemaking. In particular, MDS has expanded its range of manual devices in recent months. Among the most popular of these is the mcut|multi multifunctional cutting tool. It cuts rule materials quickly and without deformation. Plastika Mostar in Slovenia is already using mcut|multi and is very impressed.
