Marbach is currently working intensively on the topics of digitalization and industry 4.0. Marbach is also focusing on the digitalization of industrial processes. One step resulting from this project is changing invoicing from postal to digital. As of 01 August 2019, the majority of german Marbach customers will receive their invoices by email.
Simon Baumgärtner, Controlling at Marbach: "In order to be true to our motto "Packaging. Performance.You.", we will no longer send our invoices in printed form by post but electronically as of 01.08.2019. Many of our customers already receive their invoices digitally. We now also want to upgrade the remaining customers who are able to process electronic invoices. So that everyone can benefit equally from the many advantages of electronic invoicing."
Sending invoices by e-mail reduces the administrative effort involved in receiving an invoice: electronic invoices can be processed directly and do not have to be scanned first. In addition, automatic archiving and convenient searches are possible. Baumgärtner continues: "Ultimately, our customers will save time and money through the conversion. But there will also be environmental benefits."
Because invoices will no longer be sent by post, fewer resources in the form of paper will be used and mail transportation will also be eliminated. Resources will thus be conserved and the CO2 consumption that occurs during postal transport will also be avoided.
Further measures within the digitalization project will follow. This continues to be exciting development at Marbach.
Marbach is already looking forward to the opening of drupa on 16 June 2020. The most important international trade fair for the printing industry, which takes place every four years, is a very special highlight for Marbach. In addition to its latest innovations, Marbach will present its extended portfolio of packaging services in Duesseldorf.
With its calibration tool package, Marbach ensures that its customers can quickly and easily re-adjust the components of their die-cutting machine for flat die-cutting of corrugated board. This results in a significant reduction of set-up and make-ready times.
Marbach started its training program one and a half years ago. Under the name "Marbach Academy. More knowledge. More skills." Today Marbach offers practice-oriented training courses in all aspects of die-cutting packaging. The new training program for 2020 is now available
The portfolio of Marbach Die Supplies includes materials for the rubbering of cutting-dies. When it comes to rubber materials, the most important thing is that they are resistant and durable. When used in the right place in the cutting-die, they ensure that the paperboard material is ejected optimally during the cutting process. In addition, they ensure the stability of the nicks and thus provide smooth production processes in the die-cutting machine.
