Marbach Tool Manufacturing successfully exhibited at the Chinaplas 2017 in Guangzhou (China). As part of the foreign and export promotion by the German government, Marbach was located in the German section of the Chinaplas with a small booth. All important German machine manufacturers, as well as numerous suppliers of machine parts and injection molders, were represented there.
The trade fair hosted 3,300 exhibitors from 40 countries in a total exhibition area of 250,000 m². 140,000 visitors were recorded on four trade fair days, 35,000 of them from abroad.
Marbach had many different visitors at the booth on those four days. Besides existing customers various new interesting contacts could be made. Marbach Director of Sales Asia, Thomas Reinhardt: “The Chinaplas was once again a very successful event for us. Multiple tool requests are already being processed. And also projects for the next months have been initiated. We are looking forward to the next exhibition, that will take place in one year – this time in Shanghai.
Since Marbach has restructured its division „Materials for the production of cutting-dies“ and has recently been renamed Marbach Die Supplies, the positive market acceptance has been very well received at Marbach. The extended portfolio has generated a positive mood with Marbach customers. Because as one of the main material suppliers in Germany, Marbach is the only company that is able to test its products in advance in its own production units and on the in-house die-cutting machine.
There are many different possibilities to refine packaging and to upgrade them for the POS. De- and embossing in 2D or 3D, hotfoil, pure edge or reverse cutting. But there are also sophisticated creases, for example many creases close to each other, make something special out of packaging. We offer our customers the right solution for every requirement with our tools and technologies. For extraordinary packaging at the POS. That is not only a visual but also a haptic experience for the consumers.
Customers of Marbach rely more and more on the application of steel counter plates as a counter-die. This development comes as no surprise since demands on functionality and appearance of packaging blanks are continually increasing. The steel counter plate meets both criteria. The high quality of the creases that are created with it, leads to a very good functionality of folds. Moreover it eliminates the occurrence of marks on the blank.
The sixth technology forum of the European Diemakers Association (ESU) took place between the 15th and 16th of September in Luxembourg. Marbach was on-site as an exhibitor to present its newest innovations with its two divisions Automation & Service and Die Supplies.
