Our US location in Charlotte is developing very positively. Following the start of production in 2012, Marbach America has grown into a stable revenue generator within the globally active Marbach Group. In order to be able to serve its customers even better, Marbach America has invested in a laser system of the latest generation. In March 2019 a laser system of the type mlas|compact-2 was installed at Marbach America.
The mlas|compact-2 is equipped with the latest technology in laser beam guidance. This provides the highest laser cutting precision when cutting wood and steel. The SLAB laser source delivers 2,500 watts. Integrated remote maintenance ensures optimum production reliability and machine availability for the mlas|compact-2.

Due to the great success of the US location in Charlotte, Marbach will start another location in the USA this summer: In Michigan City Marbach will open a production location from which the packaging industry in the Chicago area will be supplied with Marbach quality tools. A mlas|compact-2 will also be installed there.
