The Heilbronn-based die-maker Marbach supplies not only packaging manufacturers but also other die-makers. For these, Marbach has both machines and materials in its portfolio.
Since the two divisions Marbach Die Supplies - as supplier of materials - and Marbach Automation & Service - as machine supplier - have already been successfully established in the market for some years, Marbach will now bundle their expertise. From now on, the sales teams of the two branches will merge under the name "Marbach Die Supplies & Automation" and in this way offer even more expert consultancy for its customers.
Jan Brunner, Head of Business Development at Marbach: "Marbach Die Supplies and Automation & Service have largely the same customer base. In order to be able to offer our customers the best possible service, we will combine the two areas into one large team. This means that every customer will have only one direct Marbach contact person and less administrative work. This is how we want to further help improve the performance of our customers."
These changes have already been implemented internally. The standard portfolio will remain unchanged. Brunner continues: "The departments have also been working closely together before. We are now making even more efficient use of the resulting synergies and are thus even better able to meet our customers' needs."
Marbach was recently visited by its customer Å&R Carton Lund AB for an audit. Å&R Carton looked closely at Marbach from a number of viewpoints and certified Marbach with a very good performance.
With its marbanick|2 for paperboard tools, Marbach has brought a hand tool onto the market that convinces users with its flexibility and simplicity. Since its introduction in May 2018, Marbach has sold almost 200 of these hand-held devices.
Marbach expands its Die Supplies & Automation division. From 01 February 2019, André Angermeir joins the Marbach team as the new Sales Manager. With Angermeir, Marbach has been able to gain an industry insider with a wealth of experience in the world of cutting-dies.
Marbach expands further. After having opened die production facilities in the USA, Malaysia and China in the past years, Marbach will open a Marbach Die Supplies subsidiary in Mexico in January. From here Marbach will supply materials to Mexican and North American die and packaging manufacturers. In addition, training in the application of technologies will be offered. Marbach's goal is to support the Mexican market in its further development.
