The Joint Venture between Marbach and the Chinese machine manufacturer Masterwork has begun. Since July the company has been producing in China under the name Marbach Masterwork (Tianjin) Die Cutting Tools Co. Ltd., manufacturing cutting-dies for the national market. Besides its production in Malaysia, Marbach now has a second anchor in Asia. The range includes cutting-dies, stripping and blanking tools for the Chinese cigarette and folding carton industry.
With this new location, Marbach wants to expand the availability of its tools around the globe. Jan Brunner, Head of Business Development at Marbach: "We have expanded our international activities step by step in recent years. After having started production in the USA in 2012, Malaysia followed in 2014. And now tools in Marbach quality are also available directly on-site in China. We have been supplying the Chinese market with tools from Heilbronn for a very long time, but local production naturally makes us much more competitive and flexible. We hope for a good initial phase in the coming months and that Chinese customers will also appreciate Marbach's performance in the same measure as our customers do in our established markets."
Marbach will offer a portfolio tailored to the chinese market and its requirements in order to offer customers optimal performance.
An eventful year has come to an end for the cutting-die and thermoforming tool manufacturer Marbach. Marbach has a nice tradition of making donations at Christmas instead of giving presents to customers. When selecting recipients, it is important for the Marbach management to divide the money between internationally known and regionally respected institutions. Because the Heilbronn-based company is active all over the world .This year, Marbach has donated 7,000 euros to help in Burkina Faso and 3,000 euros to the protection against freezing to death by the Aufbaugilde Heilbronn.
The focus of Marbach is optimizing the performance of its customers. For this reason Marbach offers extensive services. In addition to training on the subject of die-cutting packaging, Marbach now also offers packaging services in its portfolio.
Marbach opened its training center earlier this year. Under the name Marbach Academy, the company now offers practical training courses for participants from the packaging industry. The new training catalogue for 2019 is now available.
Marbach presented its new hand-held tool for inserting waste nicks into cutting rules back in spring. At the FachPack in Nuremberg, this device became the absolute top seller. It was possible to purchase the so-called marbanick|2 directly at the fair and numerous customers took advantage of this opportunity to upgrade and optimize their production.
