The sixth technology forum of the European Diemakers Association (ESU) took place between the 15th and 16th of September in Luxembourg. Marbach was on-site as an exhibitor to present its newest innovations with its two divisions Automation & Service and Die Supplies.
On both days, many visitors from the industry found their way to Luxembourg. At its booth, Marbach exhibited its laser machines mlas|rot-linear and mlas|smart as well as the waterjet machine mjet|2. These Marbach machines were the objects of great interest for the visitors. Numerous inquiries were made.
In the area of materials, Marbach presented its new highspeed rubber flexpower. This was one of the major attractions at the Marbach booth and was of key interest to many of the visitors. Flexpower rubber is now available as plate goods. It can be applied to flat as well as rotary cutting-dies for corrugated board. Marco Kraiss, Head of the division Marbach Die Supplies: “The rubbering with flexpower provides best die-cutting performance. With its special technical features, flexpower allows for high die-cutting quality and smooth production processes with high machine speeds. Its durability makes it indispensable for high quantities. In rotary die-cutting, flexpower improves the waste-guidance and therefore secures a fast and efficient stripping.”
Marbach has once more shown its innovative power with machines and materials for die-makers at the ESU technology forum.
Marbach Automation & Service now offers a cleaning device for corrugated board die-cutting machines: the mplaten|cleaner. With it, the platen of a die-cutting machine can be cleaned efficiently by the machine operator and the machine’s productivity increased.
“Marbach Die Supplies” delivers materials for the production of cutting-dies to die-makers worldwide. At the urgent request of our customers, Marbach has now supplemented its portfolio. For some time past, a new kind of rubbering has been used for the Marbach cutting-die marbaspeed|r: it is called flexpower. From now on, this very successful rubber will also be available from Marbach as a raw material.
Marbach is approaching the end of an eventful year. 2017 has been characterized by innovative products that Marbach has brought to market to enable better customer performance. As well as investments in machinery and buildings. But with all that, Marbach has not forgotten people who are less fortunate. And that's why this Heilbronn-based company has remained true for many years to one key principle: "donating instead of giving". When selecting the recipients of donations, it is important for the Marbach management to divide the money between internationally well-known and regionally respected institutions. This year Marbach donated 7,000 euros to the aid organization Help – Help for Self-Help e.V. and 3,000 euros to the Kindersolbad gGmbH in Bad Friedrichshall.
Marbach Tool Manufacturing (Werkzeugbau) supplies customers worldwide with thermoforming tools for the packaging industry. As a result, the company can be found at trade fairs around the globe. This was also the case at the 9th International Plastic Fair (IPF) in Japan which took place from 24th to 28th October 2017 in Tokyo, Japan.
